Native Grapes, Global Precision: redefining Campania’s white wine identity

🗓️ Tuesday, April 14, 2026 – 12:00 PM – Vinitaly
📍 Campania Pavilion
🍷 Morrone 2021

Curated by Cristina Mercuri MW and Tommaso Luongo, President of AIS Campania

Historic grape varieties, contemporary language: Fiano, Greco, Falanghina and lesser-known varieties interpreted through precision, structure and energy.

A selection of white wines from Irpinia, Campi Flegrei, Vesuvio, Taburno, Ischia and the Amalfi Coast offers a current reading of Campania’s identity. Native grape varieties today express greater stylistic definition thanks to careful ripeness management, more measured extraction and a conscious use of winemaking vessels.

The result is wines defined by a balance between breadth and tension, precise texture and harmonious integration of structural components. Campanian white wines show a strong gastronomic vocation and the ability to position themselves within the international fine wine landscape, while preserving a clear and coherent varietal identity.
