Trebulanum 2005

The 2005 Trebulanum Casavecchia is a deeply-colored, full-bodied red imbued with the essence of smoke, ash, minerals, game, ripe cherries, wild herbs and French oak, all of which come together in a wine of unusual complexity. This dark, brooding beauty reveals tons of depth and nuance in a compelling expression of the Casavecchia grape and Campanian terroir. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2017. Proprietor Michele Alois runs this small estate located in the province of Caserta.
