If you've never tasted the red Pallagrello grape, I recommend this wine. The 2012 Pallagrello Nero Cunto (aged in oak for 18 months) opens to floral notes of red roses and blue violets. Cherry cola, licorice and cream appear in a second aromatic wave. The wine shows soft tannins accompanied by soft, round fruit flavors.
